Welcome to the Geneva Notebook!

We are two expatriates, one American and one Canadian, who feel deeply privileged to make our home in Switzerland. We have created this web site to share our joy in living here with our friends and with the greater Internet community.

The Geneva Notebook does not pretend to be a comprehensive guide to the city of Geneva or to the surrounding area. Nor are the articles limited to Switzerland. It is a set of suggestions for people living in or visiting the Lake Leman area and will include features about neighboring France, and Italy. The collection of articles will continue to evolve, serendipitously, as we make new discoveries.
